Background:
- We will read Genesis to Jude but side step Revelation because we are scared
- Satan does not want us to read it because it talks about Satan's end
- Revelation is one of the most difficult biblical books to interpret
- Revelation is disclosing thus what the Lord has to say to us
- It is important to understand the book of Revelation contains the truth that has been concealed but has now been revealed
- Revelation warns the church of the dangers of sin
- The Word is not to make us feel comfortable but to convict us of our sins
- It instructs us how we need to live and behold ourselves
- It shows the strength of Christ and the believers must overcome Satan
- It shows the glory and majesty of God
- Revelation magnifies his glory

- The book of Revelation is a gift of from Father to the Son
- As a reward for His perfect service the Father promised to exalt the Son

- God give it to Jesus, Jesus give it to the angel and the angel gives it to John
- Being dependent upon God is the best way to hear Him
- John is humble and knows his position, he does not try to be something he is not
- At the end of the day, it has nothing to do with titles but everything to do with our relationship with Jesus Christ
- We are willing slaves for the Lord
- We are bound servants of the Lord
- We serve out of love and devotion to our master (Exodus 21)
- Those who refuse to accept Jesus can not understand ( 1 Corinthians 2:14)
- It's a mysterious book
- This book tells the future
- The writer wrote the history before history was accomplished
- His prophecies are always accurate
- John told facts not what he thought
- This book speaks of obedience (Mark 13:5-7)
- The promise of blessings
- The only biblical book that comes with a blessing for those who read it, claim it, and respond to it in obedience
- This book has several beatitudes (Revelation 14:13, Revelation 16:15, Revelation19:9, Revelation20:6, Revelation 22:7, Revelation 22:14)
- There is a special blessing attached to this book
- Scripture can only be effective when applied to ones life
- His promised blessing is eternal life
- He has promised to never leave us
- He will forgive us if we come to Him and ask for forgiveness
- He promised us peace
- He is the truth and the way
- He will answer our prayers and He will never be too busy for us
- He will love us to the end and give us joy
- He will reward us spiritually and our rewards will follow us even when are dead
- He promised us that he has a place for us
