Background:

• What has God asked you to do that you have not responded to?
• Who has God asked you to bless that you have not?
• We must respond to God's word
• God will never show us a need that you can not meet through Him
• When you pass off the need you miss your blessing
• They were led from bondage to freedom and all they did when they got to freedom was complain

Key Sermon Points:

1. They were disobedient to God's command 
   • We will do the natural and he will do the supernatural
   • He just wants us to trust Him (Luke 6:46)
   • We must obey God (Acts 5:29,19-20)
   • It is important for us to be obedient for God and bold for the Savior
   • They missed their blessing by being disobedient
   • Disobedience will not go unchecked
   • It is His power that so many times we underestimate what He can do
   • We miss our blessings because we do not trust Him enough
   • They did not receive their inheritance because they would not obey
   • It is important to understand we can not take God's credit
   • God's people need to understand fear will keep them out of God's promise land
   • By Adam sinning that caused a separation that they no longer have the relationship they once had 
2. They were fearful 
   • Sometimes were tormented by things that bother us
   • FEAR is the enemy of FAITH (Isaiah 41:10)
   • We can not let fear steal our blessing or our joy
   • It is only over when the Master says it is over
   • Saul and the army of Israel were fearful of the giant
   • David saw that and became angry and decided to go fight
   • We can't go in to anyone else's anointing we have to go with what God gave us
   • See what God will do when we are not fearful, he will conquer our Giants 
3. They were discouraged by others 
   • So many times we miss our blessing because we are discouraged by others
   • What voice are we listening to, the majority or the minority?
   • Who is discouraging you from getting your blessing?
   • Who are you listening to when they don't even listen to God?
   • They were talking about what they saw and what they couldn't do
   • They had to go to the land and trust God
   • We as Christians need to deal with true facts and not gossip
   • The people lost their hearts because of the negative report
   • How we SEE ourselves is how we CARRY ourselves
   • Moses was trying to encourage them 
4. They forgot that the Lord was with them 
   • So many times we forget God is with us
   • God bought us all the way
   • We must go back to the past to remember what God has done for us
   • We are bellyaching about what we don't have instead of thanking God for what we do have
   • God is with us and goes before us to fight our battles
   • He is able to help us stand so we do not have to run
   • We get scared when we are stuck between a rock and a hard place, we must cry out to God
   • God is ABLE
   • When we make a way to see Jesus, He will always see us
