The Road to Salvation

Salvation is a gift that cannot be earned.  To receive your gift today...

1. Agree with God that you are a sinner.
• For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
• No one is good enough to go to Heaven on his own merit.
2. Believe that Christ paid the penalty for your sin
• For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
• But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).
• The penalty for sin is eternal death (separation) from God in Hell.
• Christ paid our death penalty on the cross.
3. Ask Christ to come into your heart so that you can accomplish God’s purpose for your life.
• Eternal life is a free and undeserved gift for us!  Will you accept that gift today before it is too late?  If yes, then you can pray a prayer similar to this one:

Dear God,

I realize that I am a sinner and that you sent your son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for me so that I can be forgiven for the sin that separates us.  Please forgive me and take control of my life.  In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
